Good news about Mr. Nguyen Phuc Dat – alumnus of Space Engineering

Congratulations to Mr. Nguyen Phuc Dat on receiving a full PhD scholarship in Planetary Science at Lab Lunar and Planetary (LPL), University of Arizona (top-10 in Space Science and Astronomy in the US). He will do research on the topic of exoplanets, including observing and analyzing the atmospheres of planets with a view to the long-term search for Earth-like planets and extraterrestrial life.

This research direction originates from his own interest in exoplanets, and formed from research experience in internships, exchanges and consultations with scientists.

Anh Dat is a former student majoring in English, Nguyen Huu Huan School. During his study in Space Engineering, the Department of Physics sent him to do internships at research institutes in Japan (ISAS/JAXA), Korea (KASI) and Taiwan (ASIAA) within the framework of training cooperation. Created specifically for students majoring in Space Engineering. His research experience, invaluable confidence when working in an international environment, and his own ability helped him continue to be accepted by NASA Ames SOFIA Center as an internship and graduate thesis.

The Space Engineering major trains engineers specializing in the application of satellite technology, including remote sensing technology, positioning technology, programming for mobile devices using GPS, and big data analysis in remote sensing. and related applications. The industry offers internships abroad to help students access state-of-the-art laboratories, skills and confidence in an international environment.
