At the beginning of the new year 2021, PAM Air Air Quality Network and International University – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City have cooperated to develop a system of measuring points for air quality on campus. The PAM Air air quality network began to be built at the end of 2018 with the desire to transmit real-time air quality information and air pollution warnings to all people in the territory of Vietnam. Up to now, PAM Air is the first and only independent air environment network in Vietnam with a system of air quality measurement points covering all 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
PAM Air will install outdoor equipment at International University PAS-OA320. The PAS-OA320 is specifically designed to measure outdoor air quality with its ability to withstand a wide range of weather conditions as well as ease in maintenance. PAS-OA320 is high quality, reliable, high performance and low power consumption. Every 5 minutes, the device will monitor the temperature, humidity and concentration of PM 2.5 dust in the air. PM 2.5 dust concentration will be converted into Air Quality Index – Air Quality Index (AQI) according to the US Now Cast calculation method and displayed on the website and PAM Air application.
The data on air pollution will also be used by students of Space Engineering for study and research.
