Announcement of a 1.5-day class with GNSS experts

Today, positioning technology has been ubiquitous in social life, economic development and national security. Common applications in the transportation of people, goods, navigation equipment, vehicles, precision agriculture, traffic management, to high-precision positioning weapons.

However, human resources in this field in Vietnam are still very lacking.

Within the framework of cooperation with the University of Tokyo and Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (Kaiyodai), on June 13 and 14, two professors from two prestigious Japanese universities will come to install the receiver system. Global positioning GNSS MADOCA, with an accuracy of 20 cm (about 100 times more accurate than civilian GPS) and lecture to students of Space Engineering.

Lecture schedule: the afternoon of June 13 and the whole day of June 14.

Content: Introduction to GNSS and PPP systems; Collect and analyze data.

All Space Engineering students are encouraged to schedule a reasonable time to attend GNSS classes. The knowledge gained will complement the course on Programming for Mobile Devices Using GPS and the internship period at KASI Institute, Korea using GNSS data to study the ionosphere and solar storm activity.

Teachers and students of other disciplines who are interested in attending, please register with Ms. Bich Hanh via email dtbhanh@hcmiu.edu.vn to arrange arrangements.

Internship and graduate study opportunities in location technology in Tokyo will also be discussed in the classroom.
